A Marie Antoinette illustration and another woman portrait

This weekend I worked on two new illustrations, both portraits, a departure from my bird themed designs ( although I couldn't resist using the striking yellow canary)!

Marie Antoinette and the yellow canary

In this illustration I combined a portrait of Marie Antoinette with a wonderful vintage canary image and added some flowers. It sets against a grey distressed background.

Elizabeth

The one above uses a beautiful vintage woman portrait against the same background. I played around in Photoshop with different colors and couldn't decide which one I liked best, the purple one or the green below:
